My name is Kirra, and I can help you. I’m a published short-story writer, award-winning poet, and aspiring novelist, and I’m currently available for freelance writing work. 

I’ve been writing poems and stories since the age of six, and winning cash prizes for my work since the age of 12. I write opinion articles, essays, food and travel pieces, poetry, and prose, and I’m keen to use the skills I’ve developed writing across this range of genres and formats to create engaging content for lifestyle publications, and help businesses and other writers share their ideas with the world. 

My keen interest in social media and developing marketing skills also make me suited to write product descriptions, social media captions, and copy for websites. I’m preparing to begin a Google Certificate in the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing this winter, and I’m undertaking a minor in Social Media in my full-time Bachelor of Creative Industries. I’ve consistently received HDs in my business-centric university courses, and I’m eager to begin my journey into the world of writing for business. 

I’m also a prolific songwriter, and my knowledge of music, poetry, and marketing concepts mean I’m well-suited to creating jingles for advertising campaigns.
